Sharon AG Church

1992 - 1997

It all began on 8th November of 1992 in a single room of a small house at HUDA colony, Chandanagar. Responding to God's call, Rev.KRDV Prasad Rao and his wife Mrs. Divya Prasad, along with a couple of believers started the first church service with a vision of reaching the lost souls in the region of Telangana.

God established the foundation of the church and seeds as small as mustard seeds were sown diligently.

1997 - 2003

The church was led to a new place a.k.a. Tent Church , where believers worshipped God for the next six years. This was the time of initial consolidation as the church grew in devotion and in fellowship with one another, over the years. The first youth service of Sharon AG Church was started here in the year 2000.

2003 - 2007

In 2003, despite the financial constraints, the church leased a small shopping complex at NSV school building and expanded its space. For the first time, the church moved from an interior place to a main road. Two services were held every Sunday as more believers started to gather to worship God.

In 2005, responding to God's call to minister to the young people, the first youth festival of the church was held at Chandanagar which started a revival in the local churches of the region.

2007 - 2019

As the church outgrew the space, a function hall was taken for lease on Chandanagar railway station road. And God blessed the church in these 12 years as it received grace upon grace and grew from strength to strength to spread its wings into various ministries. The church started to reap the harvest as many leaders and church planters were raised, trained and sent to minister across the region of Telangana.

As God expanded the vision of Sharon AG Church, the ministry grew stronger despite various trails and challenges.

2019 - Present

From December of 2019, Sharon AG Church gathers at this beautiful place on NH-65 with three services being held every Sunday. Remembering God's faithfulness and His promises, the church has boldly entered into this new place with a renewed vigour.

The story of Sharon AG Church is yet to be unravelled as we look forward to build Kingdom Equipping Hub, a permanent place for the church and its related activities, according to the God's vision for the church.
